DUO: Dream Party Outfit!
When Duo recently contacted me to notify me about their new competition to win a dream party outfit worth £500 and a chance to style their Christmas windows i jumped at the chance. It would be such a unique opportunity and who doesn’t love a good party outfit! The rules are to style our very own dream party outfit and include a pair of shoes from their limited edition party collection and the winner will be announced at their event next week!
As the Duo campaign is called ‘Fit for Festival Fashion’, I’m making my outfit sort of festive. I always buy sequinned and sparkly dresses for Christmas parties. This one from Virgo’s Lounge stood out for me as I do love a bit of sparkle, and I am in love with the cut and style. This would be the ultimate dream dress for me! As the dress is completely gorgeous i didn’t want to go too overboard with accessories, but I wanted the colours to complement the stones on the dress. The clutch is from ASOS for £30. I chose to include this in my outfit because of the gorgeous colour, and I thought it would be perfect for the festive season. The Earrings and watch both were both chosen as they fit amazingly well with the ensemble and complement the embellished detail on the dress without being too over the top. I thought I would add the House of Holland false nails in the mix as they are high up on my wishlist right now and add a little quirkiness to the outfit!
The shoes i chose from Duo’s Limited Edition Collection were the Angelica Black Suede Heels. I’m a typical girl in that I’m totally obsessed with shoes, and these are just the perfect height, quality and totally versatile to wear over the festive period. Every girl needs a pair like this in their wardrobe.
So there we have it… My Dream Party Outfit, which comes just under budget at £491.99!
